about David Lancaster LLP

I advise businesses, families and individuals at times of challenge, change and opportunity.

I work with existing, or new, solicitors and Counsel, and other advisers, to help bring about resolution at the earliest opportunity, minimising the financial and management cost to the parties enabling, where appropriate, long term relationships to be created or re-built.

Previously, I was a partner at Pinsent Masons LLP practising as a global, commercial, litigation lawyer, involved in a wide range of high value cases.

I accept appointments to sit as mediator. I was accredited by CEDR in 1998 and have participated in an advanced masterclass course at Harvard.

I am very responsive to the needs of my clients. I am almost always available. I usually get to the nub of the problem immediately and can suggest numerous ways of progressing the matter more economically. I prefer a collegiate approach but am renowned as being independent, tenacious and able to see new angles.

Years’
Experience

49

I draw on my 49 years’ experience as a lawyer engaged on matters where the facts and law were complex, there were substantial sums at stake and there was a significant risk to value of assets and reputation.

I do not give technical, legal advice. However, I do carry out an analysis of the facts and law and then provide commercial, strategic direction enabling clients to achieve a more effective outcome.
